Help Us Grow

Our CSA is built on connection, trust, and shared investment in local food and flowers.

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Members commit to the farm before the growing season begins and, in return, receive a share of what we grow throughout the season. Our CSA offerings may include produce, herbs, and flowers, depending on the year.

By joining, you help fund the early-season costs that make the farm possible, including seeds, soil amendments, and supplies. In return, you receive thoughtfully grown, seasonal harvests and a deeper connection to where your food and flowers come from.

CSA membership supports small-scale, regenerative farming and allows us to plan intentionally, grow responsibly, and share the abundance with our community.

Produce

We grow nutrient-dense produce using carefully selected varieties that perform well in our climate and growing system. Alongside trusted favorites, we offer select uncommon varietals chosen for flavor, resilience, and interest. This balance allows us to grow reliably while still sharing the joy of discovery. Learn more about our approach on the About Us page.

Flowers

We grow over 100 varieties of seasonal flowers, including an ever-expanding collection of dahlias. Our blooms are available as custom bouquets, bulk or wholesale orders, and select event florals.

Hot tip: Subscribers enjoy first access to our largest, most abundant bouquets.

Products

Throughout the year, we create small-batch products using our fresh, seasonal ingredients, including items like hot sauces, salsas, herbal teas, and tisanes. Availability changes with the season, so offerings are always evolving.

CSA Shares

We’ve offered CSA shares in the past as a way to share the season’s abundance while supporting the farm early in the year. Our CSA offerings are thoughtfully curated and known for their generosity and variety.

Availability varies by season. To see examples of past boxes and learn more about how our CSA has evolved, visit our blog or scroll down for current details.

Mushrooms

Our interest in growing culinary mushrooms began as a small experiment and has grown into an ongoing exploration. We focus on outdoor fruiting methods, which means availability is seasonal and often unpredictable. When conditions allow, we hope to offer wood-grown, specialty mushrooms valued for both flavor and their traditional medicinal qualities.

Compost

Are you interested in learning more about composting? Help divert organic matter from landfills and return your food waste to the Earth. We utilize various inputs from the kitchen like vegetarian produce scraps, coffee grounds, and eggshells. Then we combine that with organic matter from the garden, fallen leaves, wood ash from the fireplace, and green silage. Contact us to learn more or talk soil.

CSA & FLOWER FAQs

  • Each Produce CSA share includes 11 boxes of farm-grown, seasonal vegetables and herbs throughout the season. Shares are designed for individuals or households who enjoy cooking with fresh, local food and eating with the seasons.

What you can usually expect in each box:

    • A root vegetable (like carrots, radishes, or beets)

    • Kitchen staples such as potatoes, onions, or garlic

    • Fresh greens (salad mixes, cooking greens, or bunching greens)

    • 4–6 produce items total, plus 2–3 herbs

    • Occasionally, fruit or small prepared goods when available

Most of what goes into our shares are fan favorites—the vegetables our community asks for year after year. That said, we love to sneak in a curveball now and then: a new variety, a lesser-known vegetable, or something that deserves a little more appreciation. Eating locally is also about discovery.

To help you get the most out of your share, we regularly send:

    • Recipes and storage tips

    • Ideas for using unfamiliar items

    • Guidance for stretching your box and reducing food waste

Curious what past seasons looked like? You can explore previous years’ CSA boxes in our blog to get a feel for variety and abundance.

We grow enough food to support approximately 30 people per season, allowing us to stay small, intentional, and deeply connected to the land—and to the folks who eat from it.

Want to take waste reduction even further?
We also offer a season-long composting program for an additional $50, where we collect food scraps, spent herbs, and even dead flowers—returning nutrients to the soil so nothing goes to waste.

  • This is a pickup-only CSA, with rotating pickup dates and locations shared in advance.

    Typical pickup options include:

    • On-farm pickup: Sundays, generally between 1:00–3:00 PM

    • Spring Grove pickup: Sundays, generally between 4:00–6:00 PM

    • Spring Grove Farmers Market pickup: Available during June, July, and August on market days (3rd Saturday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM)Pickup dates may vary throughout the season.

Once your signup is confirmed and payment is received, we’ll send:

    • Your scheduled pickup dates

    • Pickup location details and directions

    • Reminder emails before each pickup

We understand that life happens. If you need to adjust a pickup, combine shares, or arrange an alternate plan, early communication is key. When we hear from you ahead of time, we’re often able to offer flexible solutions—including porch partner pickups or friend/family pickups when appropriate.

Our goal is to make getting your share as smooth and accessible as possible—while keeping the farm running efficiently.

  • A Porch Partner is a simple, neighbor-powered way to make our CSA more accessible.

Porch Partners volunteer their home as a pickup spot for friends, family, or community members who want to join the CSA but may not be able to make it to a standard pickup location. We deliver one combined CSA drop, and members pick up their share from the porch during an agreed-upon window.

    Why Porch Partners matter:

    • Makes fresh, local food easier to access

    • Reduces travel and coordination for members

    • Builds stronger neighborhood connections

    • Supports small-scale, community-based farming

Porch Partners don’t need special equipment—just a reliable spot for pickups and a willingness to help connect people to good food. It’s a small act that can have a big ripple effect.

Interested in becoming a Porch Partner or joining a group pickup? We’d love to talk.

  • Because we harvest specifically for our members:

    • Missed pickups are not refundable

    • If you know you’ll miss a pickup:

      • Send a friend or family member

      • Coordinate a shared pickup

    • Unclaimed items may be:

      • Donated

      • Added to market inventory

      • Redistributed at our discretion

Need to make a change? Reach out as early as possible. We’re always happy to communicate.

  • As a very small, community-supported farm, the way we accept payment truly matters.

    Our preferred payment methods are:

    • Cash

    • Zelle

These options allow more of your dollars to go directly toward seeds, soil health, tools, and the time it takes to grow your food. Credit card processing fees and associated taxes add up quickly for small farms, and minimizing those costs helps us keep our CSA pricing as accessible as possible.

That said, we understand that everyone’s situation is different. Credit card payments are absolutely available when needed, and we’re happy to accommodate—please just note that card payments are subject to applicable taxes and processing fees.

Once your signup form is completed, we’ll follow up with clear payment instructions and options so you can choose what works best for you.

Thank you for supporting our farm in ways that help us stay small, flexible, and sustainable.

  • You can shop with us in person at the Spring Grove Farmers Market throughout the 2026 season.

📍 Where: Main St Park, Spring Grove
🗓 When: The 3rd Saturday of every month, May through October
    ⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We’ll be bringing a seasonal mix of farm-grown produce, herbs, flowers, and select handmade goods—what’s available will always reflect what’s thriving in the field that week. Markets are one of our favorite ways to connect, answer questions, and share what we’re growing (and why).

Stop by, say hi, and see what’s in season.
